SITREP: Is a military Acronym for a Situation Report. A verbal or radio communication, SITREP is one that usually Command and Control asks units at remote locations for a report on that unit’s situation. Using code, the SITREP covers enemy force activities, the reporting unit’s location, and situation regarding ammunition, supplies, health and strength of the unit’s personnel, and plans to continue to mission to completion or not.
